There was one overriding reason for starting Being Organic – Frustration.
Maybe not the best reason for starting a business but we hope you will find that it will help stop you being frustrated also.
We have been long supporters of organic food but had not really considered organic health and beauty until our son developed a skin rash which we felt was due to a reaction to ingredients in conventional baby products.
We tried a number of products labelled as ‘natural’ but they also contained artificial ingredients which also aggravated his skin. Even some products labelled as ‘organic’ had the same chemicals we were looking to avoid.
The only products that we were assured would not contain any of these irritating ingredients were those that were certified organic but we could not find one place that only stocked certified products so out of this frustration Being Organic was born.
We hope you will find that Being Organic will remove any frustration you have in finding genuine organic health and beauty products.

Only sell organic products that have been certified by the Soil Association or are certified by another certified and are up to Soil Association standards. This means that if a product is certified by a foreign certifier but the ingredients are not up to Soil Association standards then we will not stock it.
We test all our products before putting them on the website – much to the frustration of some of our suppliers! But we want to be sure that we only sell products that we would use ourselves.
We are continually looking for new organic products which support and supplement the existing range. If you have any products you would like to see as part of our range then please let us know.
We pride ourselves in giving honest advice on our product range. To assist you we also provide a freephone number to make it easier for you to seek our opinions and support.
We will ensure that any email or telephone messages are answered promptly and that the advice assists you in answering your questions.
We hold all items on the website in stock. If for some reason an item is out of stock then we will despatch all other items in your order and send the missing item when we receive it without any additional cost to you.
We send all items by Royal Mail 1st class post. Being out in the country, we like to support our village Post Office so we normally despatch goods on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday however if you a desperate for your order then just let us know and we usually be able to despatch on the day of order.
